I Wanna Drive You Home is a real-time painting. On-going modifications in colour and light intensity create an illusion of animated movements. The image is shot in an underwater world, an aquatic diorama designed to catch and frame visitors. While looking at a large range of captured species like sharks and sting rays visitors become temporary guests in a subterranean paradise. The photograph is digitally manipulated through deduction, an intended loss of the primary colours. The black and white print (3,08 x 5,35m) is projected with the inherent colours of light: red, green and blue. The projection is directed by a computer that runs a random drama of light. Alterations in the level of light and saturation create a heightened sensory perception and turns a still photograph into moving images.
